About Bangsak Beach

Bangsak Beach is a very expansive, quiet stretch of coastline in the northern part of Khao Lak. The landscape here is dominated by a dense, meter-long belt of tall casuarina trees, which give the beach a unique, forest-like setting. The sand is light-colored and soft, and since large hotel complexes here are largely hidden in the background or absent altogether, the beach has retained a very unspoiled, typically Thai atmosphere.
